SPECIAL SAFETY NOTES FOR THIS UNIT
• Caution: during operation the temperature of the exposed surface may be very hot. Danger of
burns.
• Caution: Charcoal or similar fuels must not be used for this device.
• Keep at an adequate safety distance from inflammable objects such as furniture, curtains, etc.
Keep at a minimum distance of at least 15 cm from the wall.
• Place the unit on a flat and heat-resistant surface.
• Allow the unit to cool down before you put it away.
• Never let any water get into the fat.
• Distribute weight evenly on the grill shelf. Maximum weight: 2kg.
WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, this appliance shall not be covered by any solid or flexible
material such as an aluminum tray, aluminum foil or trays made of other heat resistant material. The
use of such items or materials on the grille would impair the safety of your product and could lead
to serious damage.

PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS
Overview of the Components

Please see illustration 1.
• First remove the heating element(2).
• Remove any packaging material that may be present.
• Clean the grill grid (1) and Grill Tray (3) with a moist cloth.
• Turn the Plastic border(4) upside down.
• Assemble the grill as shown in illustration 1.
• Pour 1.5 liters of cold water into the grill tray up to the "MAX" Mark.
