Preventing ESD problems
The components inside the tool and controller are sensitive to electrostatic dis-
charge. To avoid future malfunction, make sure that service and maintenance is
carried out in an ESD approved work environment. The figure below shows an
example of an appropriate service work station.
Installing accessories
Only experienced maintenance personell can assemble or disassemble the tool/
accessorie.
This device emits CDRH/IEC Class 2 laser and IEC Class 1M light. Do not
stare into the beam.
Make sure the tool is disconnected from the cable before disassembling.
Required tools:
• Adjustable spanner
• Screwdriver
1. Put the angle head in a clamping jaw (choose a suitable size) and fasten the
clamping jaw in a vise.
2. Loosen the front cap nut using an adjustable spanner. Remove the tool
from the vise.
3. Pull out the angle gear carefully from the tool.
4. Remove the o-ring at the front of the two half rings on the motor housing.
5. Remove the two half rings on the motor housing.
