Continue driving up until the tyre of the car comes into contact with resistance (II). The help must inform
the driver of this fact.
Apply the handbrake, and block the wheels which stand on the fl oor with chocks (III). Then the driver must
carefully leave the vehicle.
Before going down, remove the car's safety chocks, release the parking brake and then drive down the
ramps slowly and carefully.
Product Maintenance
Before each use, check each ramp for damage. If any damage, cracks, deformations, traces of rust are
observed, do not use the product. A damaged ramp cannot be repaired and must be replaced with a
new one.
After each use, clean the ramps thoroughly. Clean it with a soft brush or brush, stream of compressed
air with pressure not greater than 0.3 MPa, or with a soft damp cloth, and then dry or allow to dry. The
product is protected against corrosion by means of a paint coating. The use of the product may result
in damage to the paint coating. In the case of damage to the paint coating, protect the exposed areas
against corrosion with a maintenance lubricant like WD-40 or light machine oil. Apply the product to the
exposed metal, and then rub off the excess with a dry soft cloth.
Store the product in dry, dark rooms. Ensure suffi cient ventilation in the storage area to prevent the ac-
cumulation of moisture. The storage room must be protected against unauthorised access.
Disposal of life-expired products
The life-expired steel parts do not pose any risk to the environment and must be returned to a ferrous
metal waste treatment plant.
