If the projector is not mounted perfectly central and perpendicular to the screen, which is quite rare,
especially with ceiling installation, the image may appear trapezoidal, and can be corrected using the
"keystone" function: digital correction of the trapezoidal image, as well as its rotation.
Proceed to square and rotate the image by pressing the "M" key on the control keypad or "Menu" on
the remote control (chap. 4 n. 8) to enter the "Options" menu, then press the down arrow key four
times on the control keypad (chap. 4 n. 19) or on the remote control until the "Keystone" option appear
and confirm with "OK".
In the next submenu it is possible, again with the arrow keys (up and down), to select the quadrature
axis (horizontal or vertical), the rotation option or the recovery to the original values: adjust each
parameter using the left and right arrow keys until the image is as rectangular as possible, not
trapezoidal and parallel to the orizontal edge of the screen.
Once an acceptable quadrature has been obtained, press the "OK" button on the control keypad or
"Exit" on the remote control (chap. 4 n. 10) to confirm the adjustments. If necessary, you can restore
the original values by highlighting the "Restore" option and pressing "OK".
If the image is bigger than the screen, it is possible to perform its reduction till a complete filling of the
screen, by pressing the "M" key on the keyboard or "Menu" on remote control (chap. 4 n. 8), then the
right arrow once to highlight the "Image" menu, the down arrow six times to highlight the "Reduce size"
option and confirm with "OK".
With the left and right arrow keys, the reduction can be set between 100% (original size) and 50%
(max possible reduction). Press the "OK" button on the control keyboard or "Exit" on the remote
control (chap. 4 n. 10) to confirm settings.
Please note that the reduction is only possible for the reproduced image, while the OSD is displayed
in full size: so it is preferable to install the projector at a distance that the image will completely fill the
screen.
