2.5 Important instructions for charging
1. The charge has been designed so that quick charging is only possible at a battery temperature between 0 °C (32 °F) and 45 °C (113 °F). If the
battery is too hot or too cold, the charger does not carry out quick charging of the battery (this is the case, for example, if the battery has
become hot as a result of intensive use). When the battery temperature is back within the range 0 °C (32 °F) to 45 °C (113 °F), the charger
starts charging again automatically.
2. A considerably reduced operating period after charging can indicate that the battery is at the end of its service life and needs to be replaced.
3. Remember to remove the plug on the charger when storing for an extended period.
2.6 Charging the battery pack
Insert the charging cable into your normal plug socket. Without the battery in place, the green check lamp changes to "ON". This indicates that
the charger is drawing current and that the charger is ready for use. The green check lamp starts to flash when you insert the battery into the
charger. This indicates that the battery is undergoing quick charging.

When the check lamp stops flashing (constant green light) the quick charging is complete.
The battery is then fully charged and can be removed from the charger. When you start charging the battery, a constant green light can also
indicate that the battery is too hot or too cold. Quick charging is only possible if the battery is at a temperature between 0 °C and 45 °C. If
necessary, the internal fan in the charger switches on to support the charging process and the speed. As soon as the battery has reached the
right temperature, the charger automatically switches over to quick charging. The battery can still be used even if the light is still flashing.
Depending on the temperature, the lamp can take an extended period until it stops flashing. The green lamp indicates that the battery is in quick
charging mode. It does not indicate the exact status of full charging. The lamps stops flashing earlier if the battery has not been fully discharged
before charging. If the green check lamp is "ON", the battery cannot be charged.
2.7. Speed regulation
• The battery-driven tool is fitted with a regulator to provide stepless speed selection. When switching on the unit, set the regulator to the
desired speed between 5,000 and 30,000 r.p.m. When switching off, set the regulator back to "0".
