*Please note that the maximum transmission range can only be reached under optimum conditions.
This range may be reduced by, for example, walls or other radio signals (mobile phone, WLAN...).
Connection and getting started
Open the battery cover of the remote control and place the included 12 V/A23 in the battery
compartment provided. Note the polarity marked in the battery compartment. Close the battery cover.
This device has been delivered fully preconfigured, so you do not have to make any changes to the
bank of DIP switches. This means that one radio power outlet is controlled by the first set of "On" and
"Off" buttons on the remote control and the other is controlled by second set of "On" and "Off" buttons.
Now plug the radio power outlet into a standard earthed power outlet. To test the radio power outlet,
alternate pressing the "On" and "Off" buttons from the first set (see Figure). When you press the "On"
button, the LED of the radio power outlet lights up and when you press the "Off" button, the LED goes
out. If this does not happen, read Troubleshooting.
Changing the assignment of the radio power outlet
Proceed as follows to change the standard assignment: Use a screwdriver to open the safety cover on
the back of the radio power outlet (see Figure).
A red bank of DIP switches is located under the safety cover. You can use these switches the change
the configuration of the device. DIP switches 1 to 4 on this bank are used to determine the assignment
of remote control button sets 1 – 4.
Example 1: If you set DIP switch 1 (radio power outlet) to ON, then the radio power outlet can
be controlled by button set 1 on the remote control.
Example 2: If you set DIP switch 3 (radio power outlet) to ON, then the radio power outlet can
be controlled by button set 3 on the remote control.
Please note that each radio power outlet can only respond to one button set on the remote control.
This means that you can only set one switch to the "ON" position (see Figure). This switch determines
which button on the remote control controls the radio power outlet.
Of course, it is possible to control more even more radio power outlets of this type using one remote
control.
