8. Before plugging the foam cutter into a socket, check whether your voltage corresponds to the rating label of
the appliance. Do not leave the foam cutter on, if you do not use it; it causes an early oxidation reaching
over-temperatures which could compromise the duration.
9. Before using the tool, control its integrity, if there are any defective parts or it has other conditions, which
could negatively influence its functions and safety.
10. Do not lean the metal parts of the foam cutter, if it is on (tips or resistances) on inflammable or perishable
materials at high temperatures (for ex.: plastic, rubber, wood).
11. Do not touch the metal parts of the foam cutter (tips or resistances) when it is on, with your hands or other
parts of the body. High temperatures can cause severe burns. Handle with care.
12. Use always the issued support to store the soft-solder when you do not use it, to avoid accidental contact
with the hot parts and the risk of fire.
13. After finishing the work, leave the foam cutter cool in the air before put it away; never put it under water to
avoid electric shocks.
14. Store the tool far from rain or humidity.
15. The tool has been designed for individual use.
16. Never connect the power cord to extensions or triple plugs. Do not pull or damage the power cord. Before
any maintenance operations, disconnect the plug from the mains socket.
17. If the appliance does not work properly, immediately turn off the fan heater and disconnect it from the mains
socket. For repairs, contact a technical support centre authorised by the manufacturer, and require that
original spare parts be used. Using parts that do not conform to the product may seriously compromise its
correct operation.
18. Do not use the tool if any part is damaged or defective.

1. Plug the appliance into a current socket with the following characteristics: 220-240 V, 50-60 Hz, c.a.
2. Choose the tip and insert on the foam cutter. Control that the tip is clean and the hole where it is inserted is free
from impurities. Before removing the tip, unplug the foam cutter from the electric supply and let it cool down.
Type of tips and applications:
A. HOT WIRE TIP – for cutting foam in sheet.
B. ENGRAVER TIP – to engraving with hot tip.
C. HOT KNIFE TIP – for cutting with cylindrical blade.
ATTENTION: Do not use not original spare parts.
Do not use a spare wire different from the one supplied, it can caused
damages to the card.

MAINTENANCE
This appliance requires no maintenance except cleaning of its external surfaces. To clean external surfaces,
