Dismantling - left side
1. Remove the footpeg from the foot support bracket by removing the E-shaped clip and clevis pin. Also
remove the torsion spring and set the components aside for later.
2. Remove the foot support bracket (1). To do this, loosen the screws (2). Remove the plastic plug (3).
3. Remove the shifter assembly.
a. To do this, loosen the screws (1) and detach the shifter rod (2) from the rear shifter rod lever (3).
b. Loosen the pinch screw on the front shifter rod lever (4) and pull the foot shift lever (5) together
with the shaft (6) and spacer away to the outside.
