the trim handler lights lights up green.

When the the trim handler is stopped, the icon of the
trim handler lights lights up red.
Increase trim handler performance: Press the up
arrow button (4). The button can be held down continu-
ously for a larger adjustment. Until the trim handler has
reached the desired performance, the trim handler icon
will flash. Can be done by Admin only.
Reduce the trim handler performance: Press the
down arrow key (3). The button can be held down con-
tinuously for a larger adjustment. Until the trim handler
has reached the desired performance, the trim handler
icon will flash. Can be done by Admin only.
If the desired set point cannot be achieved, the green
trim handler icon will flash on the operator panel.
Adjusting blower speed
After starting the trim handler, the blower speed is
adjusted up until the material suction is sufficient.
Then lower the speed of the blower until the suction is
reduced below an acceptable level, and increase the
speed of the blower slightly until the material suction is
optimal again.
Remote operation
Starting and stopping of the trim handler is done by
inputs on the digital inputs of the trim handler.
In case the main switch is switched off and switched on
again before ½-1 minute after switching off, it may be
necessary to reset a error in the fault menu, after which
the the trim handler operates normally again. The trim
handler should therefore not be stopped with the main
switch, but with the Stop key on the operator panel.

Replacing screen pipes
The screen pipes are available in the following dimen-
sions:
Part no.
Type
123 120 560 Screen pipe OK160
123 120 561 Screen pipe FK125
123 120 562 Screen pipe OK100
To replace the screen pipe, remove the connected pip-
ing and pull the screen pipe vertically upwards.
Error messages (if necessary, see the description
of the fault menu and "Troubleshooting").
Safety circuit broken - indicates that either the lid of
the material outlet is open and/or the cover over the
piston mechanism removed. Both give access to mov-
ing parts, which can pose a risk of personal injury.
Therefore, the trim handler cannot be started until both
the material outlet lid is closed and the cover over the
piston mechanism is fitted. If either or both are opened/
removed during operation, the trim handler will stop.
Material retaining fault - indicates that the material
retainer system is not functioning. Check if compressed
air is connected to the trim handler - see "Troubleshoot-
ing" if necessary.
Start-up fault - indicates that there is no compressed air
to the trim handler.
Main filter alarm - indicates that the pressure drop
across the air filter has exceeded a set value, and the
filter is therefore clogged.
Pre-filter alarm - indicates that the pressure drop across
the air filter has exceeded a set value, and therefore
the filter is clogged.
Cleaning and replacing the filters - see section "Service
and maintenance".
As soon as the filters are cleaned or replaced, the filter
alarms will switch off during operation.
Material outlet
The material is compacted between the piston top and
the compression flap in the material outlet, see illustra-
tion. The pins move synchronised with the piston and
retains the material.
The material can, after passing through the trim han-
dler, be conveyed into bags, or fall into a container. If
the bag solution is chosen, Kongskilde recommends
fitting an endless bag at the end of the outlet. When a
suitable amount of material has filled the bag, the bag
can be pulled off and sealed with a cable tie.
