• If the rechargeable battery has been
subjected to a strong blow, store it in a very
secure place (e.g. in a metal box) for the next
30 minutes. Pay attention to whether the re-
chargeable battery swells and/or overheats.
• Never try to manipulate, modify or repair the
rechargeable battery.
• After use, disconnect the battery from the
electronics of the car. Do not leave the battery
connected to the electronics if you are not
using the device (e.g. during transport or
storage). Otherwise, the battery could be
heavily discharged. As a result, it will be
destroyed and unusable! There is also the risk
of malfunction due to interference impulses.
The motor could start unintentionally and
cause damage or injury.
• Never damage the outer shell of the battery.
Do not cut the foil sheath. Do not pierce the re-
chargeable battery with sharp objects. There
is a risk of fire and explosion!
• Dispose of used batteries after the end of their
life span properly at local collection points or
retail outlets.
Inserting the batteries into the
remote control (Fig. F)
CAUTION! Observe the following
instructions to avoid mechanical and
electrical damage.
Before using the product for the first time, insert
the included batteries.
1. With a suitable screwdriver, loosen the screw
on the battery compartment (2g) on the
bottom of the remote control (2) and raise the
cover (2f).
2. Carefully insert the batteries (5) into the
battery compartment. The batteries must be
completely inside the battery holder.
Note: Check the plus/minus poles of the batter-
ies and insert them correctly.
3. Put the battery compartment cover (2f) on the
battery compartment and screw the cover (2f)
onto the bottom of the remote control again
with the screw.

Replacing the batteries
CAUTION! Observe the following
instructions to avoid mechanical and
electrical damage.
Should the batteries no longer function properly,
replace them as described in the insertion
instructions. Remove the batteries that are in the
device before inserting new ones.
Charging the rechargeable
battery (Fig. G)
WARNING: Do not remove the outer shell of
the rechargeable battery (4). This protects the
battery.
1. Connect the end (3a) of the USB charging
cable (3) to the battery connector (4a) of the
rechargeable battery.
2. Plug the other end (3b) of the USB charging
cable (3) into a USB port on a powered-on
computer or charging station with a USB port.
NOTE: Charging takes approx. 60 minutes.
3. The charge indicator light turns off as soon as
the battery (4) is charged.
4. After charging, disconnect the battery
connector (4a) from the end (3a) of the USB
charging cable (3) and unplug the end (3b)
of the USB charging cable (3) from the USB
port.
5. Insert the rechargeable battery (4) into the
battery slot (1d) correctly (see "Inserting the
rechargeable battery").
Inserting the rechargeable
battery (Fig. H)
1. With a suitable screwdriver, loosen the screw
on the battery compartment (1d) on the bot-
tom of the car (1) and remove the cover (1c).
2. Insert the rechargeable battery (4).
3. Connect the battery connector (4a) to the car
(1).
4. Close the battery compartment (1d) complete-
ly and screw in the screw again.
