Fuel tank filter
STORAGE
If you need store this unit for long term(over 6 months), please make sure to:
1. Store this unit at a dry and ventilated place.
2. Turn off fuel cock, make sure fuel is drained and the tank is empty. Residual of the gasoline over a long
time will cause difficulty when starting the engine next time.
3. Lose oil drain plug to drain fuel in carburetor (FIG. 22-23). Alternatively, to run the until without loads
until all fuel is out.

4. Change Oil
Long-term unchanged oil cause many deposits, this could damage the engine when running.
5. Check and tighten all nuts and bolts.
6. Clean the generator with rag, spray preservative on it if needed. DO NOT use water to clean the
generator.
7. When the generator catches fire suddenly, a fire-fighting device with carbon dioxide should be used, in
case of absence of the carbon dioxide fire extinguisher or malfunction of the fire extinguisher, any fire-
fighting measures should be applied quickly, however a foam or sand extinguisher should not be used.
