ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION
Before starting to assembly, it is important to make sure that we have enough space to
use the TSUNAMI and prevent the confetti or other consumable used from hitting
anything or anyone, causing damage.
The transport of the TSUNAMI machine must always be done with the help of mechanical
means such as a forklift. The base of the TSUNAMI machine is prepared to fit on top of a
European size pallet (120x80cm).
1. Place the machine on a completely horizontal, flat and stable surface.
2. Connect the air/gas tube or hose (10) (not included) to the air inlet
/ gas (3) and to the source of compressed air (usually a compressor). Start the
compressor and check on the manometer (7) that the pressure is between 5 and 6 BAR.
Check that there are no leaks.
3. Connect the electrical line coming from the control to the control input socket (4).
4. You can use different control systems (ex: 1 CHANNEL FX PUSHER,
1 CHANNEL DMX SWITCH, etc). Once connected, carry out a no-load trip test by
operating the control. If the assembly is correct, the machine will be heard firing and the
firing indicator led (6) will light up. Thanks to the trip indicator led (6) you can also do the
trip test without air / gas supply.
5. Position the consumable-loaded launch tube (8) to the output coupling (2) of the
machine and fully lower the output coupling cam arms to secure the launch tube.
6. The angle of the launch tube (8) is variable. To change it, hold the tube and pull the two
positioners (9) to retract them. This operation must be carried out by two operators. As
long as you keep the positioners (9) retracted you can vary the inclination of the launch
tube. Once the inclination of the launch tube is as desired, release the two positioners
(9) and the angle will be fixed.
OBSERVATIONS
If you want to fire several TSUNAMI machines at the same time from the same control,
connect the machines together with a powercon cables using the control output jack (5).
To control the TSUNAMI machine, use a pushbutton system, not a switch.
