SUGGESTED TRAINING SCHEME AND
CHOICE OF PROGRAMMES
The programmes are in training order from 1 to 15;
generally, a beginner starts with programme 1 and reaches programme 15 in
about 2 months.
For the more experienced, for maintenance training, programmes 10 to 15 are
recommended.
If used at a comfortable intensity, the programmes usually provide a pleasant
sensation as long as the conductive plates and the abdomen are well moistened,
but if any programme is uncomfortable, it can be replaced with a programme of
your choice other than the one indicated in the proposed training scheme below.
The user can create a personalised training plan based on the preferred pro-
gramme or programmes. The number of sessions is indicative, but between 3 and
5 sessions per week can generally be carried out as preferred. It is advisable not
to use the device for more than one hour per day. If you want to do two sessions
on the same day, it is advisable to wait at least 5 hours after the first one.
Always leave one or two days off per week.
For example, an 8-week training schedule is shown below. This schedule can
be customised by reducing the number of programmes and/or sessions rec-
ommended for each week, if preferred, trying to do at least 3 sessions per
week in total.
In some cases, especially in the presence of a narrow waist, lateral stimula-
tion may be less tolerable, in which case it is suggested to lower the intensi-
ty, or trying a change of position (e.g., standing instead of sitting) and/or to
activate the intensity only on the central stimulation thus leaving the lateral
stimulation inactive.
Tesmed absolute can be used standing, sitting or lying down. More experienced
users, followed by the athletic trainer or personal trainer, can use Tesmed absolute
during physical exercise.
