Step 3. Press the Channel 1 UP arrow. This will ramp up the level of stimulation
for Channel 1. You should see the orange/yellow LED above the switch
illuminate.
Step 4. Repeat this procedure for channel 2 on the right.

Step 5. If device has operated as expected, turn it off by depressing the red button
a second time.
Step 6. If the LCD does not display any information at startup, check the battery
compartment. If the batteries have not been inserted, see the Changing
the Battery section in this manual (Section 2.5.1). If the batteries have been
inserted, change batteries.
Step 7. If after changing batteries, the device still does not respond, refer to the
Troubleshooting guide on page 43.
2.3 Electrode Setup
Step 1. Prepare the skin by washing the electrode site with mild soap and water,
then rinse and dry the area thoroughly. The use of rubbing alcohol is
discouraged unless skin is excessively oily. If necessary, trim excess body
hair before applying electrodes. Do not shave electrode site for at least 24
hours before treatment.
Step 2. Connect the lead wires to the electrodes before applying electrodes to the
skin.
Step 3. Place the electrodes on skin as prescribed by your clinician.
