If the model of your appliance does not have the
accessories described above, they can also be
bought separately from the Technical Assistance
Service.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
ENGLISH
Caution: A new battery is not fully charged and
must therefore be charged before the appliance
is used for the first time.
Charge the battery at an atmospheric
temperature of between 4 and 40ºC.
Plug the charger (K) into the mains.
Connect the charger jack (L) to the socket on the
appliance (I). The socket is located at the
lower/front part of the handle.
Approximately 3 to 5 hours are needed for a
complete charge of the battery. Never attempt to
over charge the battery (although it is
recommended that the first charge of the battery
be of 5 hours in duration).
The pilot light will come on to indicate that the
charger is charging the battery.
When the battery is charged disconnect the
charger from the mains supply.
NB: Do not use the appliance while it is
connected to the charger.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
BEFORE USE:
Ensure that every part of the packaging has been
removed.
Ensure that battery is charged according to the
instructions.
INSERTING A SCREWDRIVER BIT:
To open the screwdriver's chuck, push down the
cover of the chuck (A).
Insert the screwdriver bit of the type required for
the task, while maintaining the chuck opened.
Release the cover when the screwdriver bit is at
its place.
If you need a longer bit you can use the
screwdriver bit extender (N).
Follow the same steps as indicated previously
but inserting the screwdriver bit extender. Then
insert the screwdriver bit of the type required for
the task into the extender.
In order to remove accessories from the chuck,
push down the cover of the chuck (A)
Remove the extender or the screwdriver bit.
