Toilet placement
Separett Villa has no requirements for room temperature and works in both cold and warm
spaces. The only requirements are that you must be able to divert the urine and fit a ventilation
pipe. Before installation, choose how you want to direct the urine pipe and ventilation pipe, and
where the drainpipe will go through the floor. Note that also attach the supplied silicon strip
underneath the toilet, the silicon strip reduces friction and ensures that no water gets under the
toilet.
The toilet is made to be placed on the floor against the wall, and for extra stability it should be
attached either to the floor, wall, or both.
Make holes according to the installation template
The enclosed installation template shows possible installation options for urine drains and venti-
lation pipes through the wall behind the toilet. The template should be used during installations
as this help the placement of the urine drain and ventilation pipe.
Install ventilation pipe
The toilet is constructed for 75 mm pipes (outer diameter). For optimal function, it is recommen-
ded that you use Separett's own installation kit that has pipes and angles in the correct dimensi-
ons.
The toilet for US is constructed for 89 mm, 3,5", pipes (outer diameter). CA toilet comes with both
75mm and 3,5'' connectors. For optimal function, it is recommended to use the installation kit
included with the purchase of the product.
All Villa-models can be installed with up to six meters ventilation piping and three 90-degree
bends. Ventilated air can go through wall, floor, or roof, for example, up into an attic and out
through a suitable side of the house. If there already is a ventilations pipe present from a previo-
us toilet installation, the toilet may be connected to that duct, if it is not smaller than 75 mm (89
mm, 3,5") and that it meets the piping requirements.
If additional pipes are needed for the ventilation on the outside of the house are Separett's
ventilation kit (art.no 1020) recommended. It includes two meters of pipes and joint pipes to
ensure an easy further installation. For Villa US/CA, Separett recommend contacting the nearest
hardware store if you need a ventilation kit.
Note that a short installation as possible is recommended to guarantee full functionality during
the year.

Install urine drain
IMPORTANT! Always ask the environmental office which regulations apply in your municipality
or where the toilet is to be installed.
Keep in mind that the installation is crucial for the toilet's functionality and well-being. A complete

Installation of urine drain applies to all VILLA-models. The toilet is supplied with a two-meter
urine hose. To connect this to the toilet, use:
1. Supplied straight joint for installation straight back from the toilet

turned to the side. The straight joint and the bend can be perceived as difficult to get in place, to
facilitate assembly, for example, Vaseline can be used. The supplied urine hose is then connected
to the straight joint and the 90-degree bend.
