NOTE: the balancer stops even if the drum spring is fully discharged: in this condition the head of the load screw (45) (Fig.5) protrudes
by approximately 4 mm outside the cap. To restore operating conditions operate on the lever (5) (Fig.6) and try to load the spring
as outlined in the "Balancer adjustment" paragraph (release lever 5 when the head of the load screw (45) (Fig.5) returns inside the
cap. If the balancer does not release
DO NOT INTERVENE BUT CONTACT THE AFTER-SALES ASSISTANCE SERVICE.
If the cable should project from the balancer cap, it will be rewound immediately.
Centrifugal speed limiter
The balancer is fitted with a centrifugal safety system that locks the drum if the speed exceeds the danger limit (accidental unhooking
of the load, cable breakage, etc.).
If the centrifugal safety system trips, discharge the drum spring IMMEDIATELY and completely, and have the balancer inspected by
an authorised after-sales service centre.
Manual lock
The balancer is fitted with a manual-locking system (Fig.4): turn knob (1) to position (H) to block drum rotation. Turn knob (1) to
position (G) for routine work conditions.
NOTE: for safety reasons, the shape of the shutter that blocks the drum does not allow the shutter to be removed unless it is perfectly
coaxial with the matching hole in the drum: to release the drum, move the load slightly upwards and downwards until you find the
correct position to allow its release.
Use the locking system ONLY with load hanging.
If the balancer cable is not fully wound and no load is hanging, DO NOT intervene and contact the after-sales
assistance centre immediately.
(Option 'B': control from below (Fig.2)
Lower the side of the handle with the RED sticker to lock the drum; lower the side of the handle with the GREEN sticker to release it).
OPTION "RI", insulated rotary suspension (Fig.3)
Permits to electrically insulate the load hung on the balancer, e.g. in the case of suspension of welding devices and/or turn the
hanging tool freely without twisting the cable.
Always comply with the safety regulations relative to the electrical equipment.
Installation: insert the snap-hook (35) into the pin (E) of the rotary suspension Insert the cable thimble (17) into the pin (F); insert
the split-pin (D) and deform it.

Cleaning is carried out in order to remove dirt, meat and fat particles from the balancer.
For hygienic reasons, the balancer must be thoroughly cleaned at least daily after each shift, and in between in case of heavy soiling.
All surfaces must be visually clean after cleaning.
Thorough cleaning is a prerequisite for the subsequent disinfection to be effective.
Always take note of the safety instructions in the product data sheets issued for the relevant detergents or disinfectants.
