INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY.
• As with any new physical activity, instruction, practice
and common sense are necessary for successful use
of this scooter. Your health professional or Roscoe
Knee Scooter distributor can provide instruction and
a demonstration. Practice operating this scooter to
increase your skill and confidence. Gradually increase the
time you spend using the scooter to allow your muscles
to adjust to this new activity.
• Failure to properly engage the quick-release clamp may
cause the steering column to move while the scooter is
in use and may cause you to loose control. With the quick
release clamp properly adjusted, the handle bars will be
locked in place.
• Be sure to check the quick-release clamp is secure
and tight before each use or injury may result.
• Injury may result if seat knee platform adjustment
instructions are not followed.

• The scooter is intended for use with a single person in
place on the scooter. ALL WHEELS must be in contact
with the floor/ground at ALL TIMES. Failure to maintain
this could result in improper balance of the scooter and
cause injury or damage.

ALWAYS INSPECT SCOOTER PRIOR TO
Properly inspecting and maintaining your scooter can
reduce the risk of injury. Make sure that all parts are
secure and are in good working order. Always check the
fasteners, wheels, brakes and seat for tightness prior to
use. If scooter is not in good working order or fasteners
cannot be tightened,

or in sandal, and keep shoelaces, loose clothing and/or
accessories out of the way of the wheels and handle bars.
