First use

Checking the bathroom scale and product contents

1. Take the bathroom scale out of the packaging and check whether the
bathroom scale or individual parts exhibit damages. If this is the case, do
not use the bathroom scale. Contact the manufacturer using the service
address specified on the guarantee card.
2. Check to make sure that the delivery is complete (see Fig. A).
Removing the insulating strip and cleaning the
bathroom scale
1. Remove the insulating strip from the battery compartment
the tab of the insulating strip. The bathroom scale is ready for use once the
insulating strip is removed.
2. Clean the bathroom scale (see chapter "Cleaning and maintenance").

Operation

WARNING! Risk of slipping!
If the bathroom scale or your feet are wet or you have applied
cream to them, you could slip on the bathroom scale and injure
yourself.
− Make sure that your feet are not wet and that you have
not applied cream to them.
− If there is water on the standing surface of the bathroom
scale, wipe the standing surface dry before you use the
bathroom scale.
