Clean and maintain the bathroom scale at regular intervals and as needed.

Cleaning the bathroom scale

NOTE!
Risk of damage!
If you do not clean the bathroom scale properly, you could
damage it.
− Do not use any aggressive cleaners, sharp or metallic
cleaning utensils such as knives, hard putty knives or
similar. They could damage the surfaces of the bathroom
scale.
− Make sure that no water penetrates the housing of the
bathroom scale.
− Never attempt to clean the bathroom scale by immersing
it in water and do not use a steam cleaner to clean it.
− Do not place the bathroom scale in the dishwasher.
1. Wipe the bathroom scale off with a damp cloth.
2. Dry the bathroom scale off thoroughly.

Changing the battery

WARNING!
Choking Hazard!
Batteries are small objects. Keep batteries out of reach of small
children. If swallowed, consult a physician immediately.
If the message "Lo" appears on the display, replace the inserted battery (button
cell) as follows (see Fig. E):
1. Carefully turn the bathroom scale over.
2. Use a cross-slotted screwdriver to loosen the screw on the battery
compartment cover.
3. Take the cover of the battery compartment off.
