3. Remove the lower guard operating arm
5 Press the arbor lock button to lock the
retaining screw. Release the guard operating
arbor. (Fig. H)

4. Rotate the lower blade guard up into the
upper blade guard. (Fig. G)
6. Using the supplied Allen Key, release the
arbor screw to remove the blade.

NOTE: The arbor screw is reverse threaded.
Turn to the right to loosen and to the
left to tighten.

7. Install the new 8-1/4" blade. Make sure
the rotation arrow on the blade matches the
clockwise rotation arrow on the upper guard.
