9) INSTALLATION (Fig. 4)
Position the plastering machine in a place where it is
possible to have a completely free area of at least 1 metre
around it and a fl at walkover surface where only the machine
operator stands.
When using the mixing machine the operator must
constantly visually make sure no one else near the work
area, and therefore machine positioning should easily allow
the meeting of that requirement.
The machine must also be placed in such a way as to use
the least possible piping, without any obstacles during use
and cleaning.
Place the machine, correctly positioning the support feet
(Fig. 3 Ref. 1). Block the wheels.
- Caution! The machine must be placed on solid,
level ground, in particular where the foot rests (Fig. 3
Ref. 1) to ensure the machine is stable during operation.
Make sure the mixer and hopper grille locking devices are
activated.
(Fig. 3 Ref. 2) and (Fig. 3 Ref. 3).
Fit the pressure gauge.

- Before starting work, always check that the pipes,
fi ttings and gaskets are
in perfect condition.
- Only use original IMER pipes and fi ttings. The
use of pipes and fi ttings not complying with IMER
specifi cations can compromise correct machine
operation as well as the safety of operators.
Extend the material delivery and air pipes from the machine
to where the product is to be sprayed, avoiding tight bends
or constrictions.
Properly tighten the cam-lock couplings (fi g.4 Ref. 1),
making sure to fi t the gaskets (Fig. 4 Ref. 2) and connect the
jet to the pipe ends.
If present, after correctly positioning it on the hopper,
connect the vibrating screen plug to the special socket on
the machine.

10. ENGINE AND COMPRESSOR CHECK
Check the engine oil, diesel and compressor oil levels before
starting the machine up.
11. START-UP (see Fig. 8/9/10)
After positioning the machine, prepare three or four buckets
of grout (50% water, 50% cement or lime) Pour the grout into
the machine hopper or, if using colouring products, directly
into the machine's pipe before connecting it. In which case
pour about 30-40l of coloured product into the hopper.
Take the material pipes, make sure they are in good
condition, the connections are integral and that the relevant
gaskets are present, and connect them to the delivery
manifold and the jet. Check that the cam levers ( A ) of the
couplings have been tightened correctly and that the seal (B)
is fi tted as shown in fi g. 4A. Open the jet's air cock (Fig. 5,
Ref. 1). Open the machine's air cock (Fig. 3, Ref. 4)
Make sure the mixer tipping lever is in its central position
(Fig. 6, Ref. 1).
