To Use the Dispenser
Select C UBED ICE,CRUSHED ICE or WATER.
Press the glassgentlgagainstthetop ofthe
dispenser cradle.
Thespillshelfisnot self-draining. Toreducewater
spotting,the shelfand its grilleshouldbe cleaned
regularly.
Ifno water is dispensed when the refrigeratoris
firstinstalled,there mog be airin the water line
sgstem. Press the dispenser arm for at least two
minutes to remove trapped airfrom the water line
and to fillthe water sgstem. Toflush out impurities
in the water line,throw owog the firstsix glassfuls
of water.
CAUTION: Neverput fingers or ong other objects
into the ice crusherdischarge opening.
Locking the Dispenser
Press the LOCKpadfor 3 seconds to lockthe
dispenser and controlpanel.Tounlock,press
and holdthe pad againfor 3 seconds.
Dispenser Light
TheLIGHT pad turnsthe night light in the
dispenser o n and off.Thelightalsocomeson
whenthe dispenser cradleis pressed. On some
models,ifthis light burnsout, it shouldbe replaced
with a 6 watt 12Vmaximumbulb.
Quick Ice
Whengou needicein a hurrg,press the QUICK
ICEpadto speedup iceproduction. T hiswill
increase iceproductionfor thefollowing48 hours
or until gou press the pad again.
Door Alarm
Toset thealarm,pressthe DOOR ALARM pad until
the indicatorlightcomeson.Thisalarmwill sound
if eitherdoor isopenfor morethan 3 minutes.
Thelightgoesout and the beepingstopswhen
gou closethe door.
Precise Fill
Thiswater dispenser isequippedwith a feature
called"precise fill."Thisfeatureallowsgouto
choosea preciseamountof water (cupsor
ounces) that gou wouldlikedispensed.

Press the WATER pad.

Press the CUPSor OUNCES pad.
Select the precise amount of water gou
would likedispensed.
Ifyou selected OUNCES, p ress the arrow
pads on either side of the displag to select
the number of ounces gou would liketo have
dispensed between 1-99 ounces.
Ifgou selectedCUPS, pressthe arrowpads
on the left ofthe displayto selectthe whole
cups (1-16cups)and/orthe arrowpadson
the right sideof the displagto selectfractions
of a cup (1/4-3/4 cups).
Press the cupagainstthecradleand water
will begindispensing. I t willautomaticallg
stop whenthe amount set hasbeen
dispensed. Thedisplagwillshowthere
is no water leftto dispense, then reset.
NOTE: Do not leave the dispenser unattended
when water is being dispensed.
If gou would liketo stop dispensing water
before the specifiedamount has been
dispensed, just remove the cup from the
cradle. The displag willshow the amount
left to dispense.
