6.2 Starting the citrus juicer.
Before starting the juicer:
1. Prepare citrus fruits by halving
them and leaving them close at
hand beside the citrus juicer.
2. Press the cut surface of the halved
citrus fruit quite powerfully onto
the small or large pressing cone.
3. As soon as you exert pressure on
the pressing cone, it begins to
rotate. The pressing cone rotates
into the fruit pulp and the juice
extracted in this way flows through
the strainer into the juice
container.
To extract more juice, change the
direction of rotation of the pressing cone.
Proceed as follows for this purpose:
•
Do not exert any pressure on the
pressing cone for a short time.
•
Press the fruit again quite powerfully
onto the pressing cone.
The pressing cone will turn in
o
the other direction.
•
Repeat steps 2 and 3 if necessary.
WARNING
Danger of
electrocution!
•
Improper handling of the citrus juicer
can lead to an electric shock.
•
Unplug the device from the mains if
juice is overflowing and dripping on
the motor base.
