IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always
be followed, including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. Blades are SHARP. Handle carefully
3. Always unplug from wall socket when not in use, prior to handling,
before putting on or taking off the parts, and before cleaning.
4. Avoid contact with moving parts.
5. Ensure the stick coupler and motor coupler are aligned and
engaged before operating.
6. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not put motor base,
cord or plug in water or other liquid. Only the blade guard and
stainless-steel shaft of this appliance have been designed for
submersion into water or other liquids. Never submerge any other
portion of this unit in any liquid.
7. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
8. IMPORTANT! Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is
used by or near children.
9. Keep hands, hair, clothing, and utensils away from blade, blade
guard and blending container while operating the Immersion
Blender to prevent the possibility of severe injury to persons and/or
damage to the appliance.
10. A spatula may be used but must be used only when the Immersion
Blender is not operating. Avoid contact with moving parts.
11. Do not operate this appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after
this appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
Bring this appliance to a qualified technician for examination, repair
or adjustment.
12. The cord to this appliance should be plugged into a 120V AC
electrical outlet only.
13. The use of accessory attachments not recommended the appliance
manufacturer for this specific model, may result in fire, electric shock
or personal injury.
14. Do not use outdoors.
