NOTE: the balancer stops even if the drum spring is fully discharged: in this condition the head of the load screw (9) (Fig.4) protrudes
by approximately 4 mm outside the cap. To restore operating conditions, try to load the spring as outlined in the "Balancer adjustment"
paragraph. If the balancer does not release
DO NOT INTERVENE BUT CONTACT THE AFTER-SALES ASSISTANCE SERVICE.
Manual lock
The balancer is fitted with a manual-locking system (Fig.2): push and turn the pin (6) (Fig.2) by 90° (position A) to block drum rotation;
push and turn pin (6) (Fig.2) by 90° (position B) to allow normal operation.
Use the locking system ONLY with load hanging;
If the balancer cable is not fully wound and no load is hanging, DO NOT intervene and contact the after-sales
assistance centre immediately.
OPTION "RI", insulated rotary suspension (Fig.5)
Permits to electrically insulate the load hung on the balancer, e.g. in the case of suspension of welding devices and/or turn the
hanging tool freely without twisting the cable.
Always comply with the safety regulations relative to the electrical equipment.
Installation: insert the snap-hook (29) into the pin (E) of the rotary suspension Insert the cable thimble (28) into the pin (F); insert
the split-pin (D) and deform it.

isinfection
Cleaning is carried out in order to remove dirt, meat and fat particles from the balancer.
For hygienic reasons, the balancer must be thoroughly cleaned at least daily after each shift, and in between in case of heavy soiling.
All surfaces must be visually clean after cleaning.
Thorough cleaning is a prerequisite for the subsequent disinfection to be effective.
Always take note of the safety instructions in the product data sheets issued for the relevant detergents or disinfectants.

Risk of accident caused by insufficiently qualified personnel.
Danger to most severe injuries are possible.
- The balancer may only be maintained, repaired and cleaned by qualified personnel.
Highly irritant or corrosive detergents and disinfectants.
Breathing difficulties and other health damage is possible.
- Always take note of the hazardous substance symbols and the safety data sheets issued for the relevant
detergent or disinfectants.
- Wear the personal protective equipment specified by the manufacturer of the detergents and disinfectants.

Carrying out cleaning and disinfection
- Only use detergents and disinfectants approved for the food industry.
- Store detergents and disinfectants separately or in a special room.
Make absolute sure those detergents and disinfectants do not come in contact with food.
- Only use cloths, brushes or other devices which are only used for cleaning and disinfection.
Damage due to high water pressure.
High water pressures will cause damage Balancer parts.
- Do not use high-pressure cleaners.
