GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Before using the 3-in-1 Coffee Maker, read these instructions carefully to ensure best results are
•
obtained.
Only connect the Power Plug to the mains supply when both ON/OFF Switches are in "O" position.
•
Do not allow the power cord to hang over sharp edges and keep it away from hot objects and naked
•
flames.
Clean, fresh water should always be used with 3-in-1 Coffee Maker.
•
Do not use the 3-in-1 Coffee Maker with damp or wet hands.
•
During operation when the Espresso machine is pressurized. Before you take off the Espresso Filter
•
Holder, let the steam come out of the Steam Nozzle.
Always make sure the 3-in-1 Coffee Maker is placed at a stable, flat and anti-slip surface. Otherwise,
•
it may cause injuries or damages to the 3-in-1 Coffee Maker.
Do not switch the 3-in-1 Coffee Maker on without water in the Coffee Carafe or Espresso Carafe.
•
Never switch the 3-in-1 Coffee Maker on without placing the Carafes
•
under their outlets.
Do not touch the Warming Plate when the 3-in-1 Coffee Maker is in operation. After switching off,
•
allow it to cool first.
Switch off the 3-in-1 Coffee Maker and remove the Power Plug from the mains supply whenever the
•
3-in-1 Coffee Maker is not in use.
Test the 3-in-1 Coffee Maker and the cable regularly for damage. If there is damage of any kind, the
•
3-in-1 Coffee Maker should not be used.
Switch off the 3-in-1 Coffee Maker when the Water Tank is empty.
•
Under no circumstances must the 3-in-1 Coffee Maker be submerged in water or any other liquid.
•
The 3-in-1 Coffee Maker is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical
•
or sensory capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning the use of the 3-in-1 Coffee Maker by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the 3-in-1 Coffee Maker.
•
• If the Power Cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• The 3-in-1 Coffee Maker is intended to be used in a household and/or similar venues such as:
-small kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments
-farm houses
-small hotels, motels and other residential type environments
-bed and breakfast type environments.
Keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference.
•
Ensure that you keep plastic bags away from children and discard in the appropriate manner.
•
USING THE COFFEE MAKER
Before Initial Use:
Remove all the packaging material.
•
Clean the 3-in-1 Coffee Maker as described in CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE.
•
Before initial use, it is suggested that performing two to three run-throughs with both the Coffee and
•
Espresso machine, without coffee, as described below.
Open the Steam valve when preparing Espresso for approx. 5-10 seconds to clean the Steam Pipe
•
of the Steam Nozzle. Small quantity of smoke and aroma may emit at the first run, this is normal.
