Support for eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel)
eARC is new functionality that has been added to HDMI 2.1. It makes possible
the transfer of audio formats such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio
from a TV that supports eARC to this unit, which was unavailable with ARC
(Audio Return Channel). Use an HDMI cable with Ethernet support to connect.
Audio formats available for transfer are as follows.
• If the TV does not support eARC, functionality is the same as ARC.
