5) MAINTENANCE
Before any cleaning/maintenance action the operator has to absolutely disconnect the electric ca-
bles.
Maintenance has to be made by skilled personnel only, with the sole use of original spare parts.
In order to assure a high performance for a long time operator has to make a simple maintenance
work as mentioned in the following table.

Replacement of carbon rods
Carbon rods can be easily replaced when damaged or worn. Follow the steps below:
a) disconnect the electric cable
b) unscrew the nut
c) take off the rod
d) plug in the new rod
e) fasten again the screw again with the nut
NOTE: The inside mechanisms of KOV12 FSE/TSE are protected for a lifetime with a special grea-
se. DO NOT OPEN THE MACHINE UPPER PART. Any tampering will invalidate the manufacturer
warranty.
