The drive lever (2) always springs back to zero
when released; before each use of the machine,
the drive lever should be checked for smooth re-
Danger
turn to the zero position.
The components of the drive lever and return safe-
ty device must not be hindered in their function by
locking or blocking, due to a risk of accident!
In emergency situations, the machine can be stop-
ped by releasing the drive lever.
• Set the engine speed lever to full power.
The engine speed should always be clearly below
or above the speed which the centrifugal clutch
engages, otherwise the clutch facings will slip and

be damaged.
• Select the desired direction and speed of travel using the drive
lever (2).
• Guide and steer the machine using the tow-bar grip (4); the
operator walks alongside the tow-bar.
• In order to halt the machine, move the drive lever to «0»-posi-
tion; the machine will remain stationary due to the braking ef-
fect of the hydrostatic drive.
• If the diesel engine is set to idle or switched off, the multip-
le-disk brake is activated as a parking brake.
• The vibration can be switched on and off while the machine is
in motion:
I High excitation = earthwork
I Low excitation = bituminous work
