3. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Attention!, Read this manual carefully before using the machine to
avoid hazards such as electric shock or fire.
- The work area must be kept clean to avoid hazards.
- Always observe environmental conditions, do not expose the machine to rain and do
not use it in humid environments. Try to work in good lighting conditions. Do not use
the machine in the presence of flammable liquids or gas.
- Keep children away, do not allow children or others to approach the work area,
thereby preventing them from accidentally touching the cord or machine.
- Keep the utensil when it is safely inactive, it should be stored high and safe so that it
is not accessible especially to children.
- Be careful not to touch certain parts of the machine such as connectors or hot items,
this will prevent electric shock.
- Do not overload the machine. Operate only within suggested levels.
- Dress properly: Do not wear long clothing or jewelry because they may get caught
in moving parts of the machine. Rubber gloves and shoes with non-slip soles are
recommended for work. For long hair use a suitable protector.
- Wear safety goggles and a dust mask if the operation is dirty.
- Never hold the tool by the cable or pull the cable to disconnect. Keep the cable away
from sources of heat, oil, sharp edges and other abrasive agents.
- Work safely, use clamps or vises to fix the element to drill or work, it is safer than
using your hands and they are free to operate the machine.
- Always maintain a safe position at all times, maintaining the balance.
- Keep the tool always ready and clean for a better and safer use. Follow the instructions
for lubricating and changing accessories. Inspect periodically that the cable is not
damaged and replace it if so and also that the extensible cables that you can use are
eventually the right ones and are not damaged. Keep handles dry and free of oil and
grease.
- Disconnect the tool from the power when it is not in use, and also when you are going
to carry out any intervention to repair it or change accessories.
- Remove adjusting wrenches or other service tools. Check that the adjusting wrenches
and other tools have been removed before turning on the machine.
- Avoid unintentional starting of the machine. Never carry the machine turned on with
your finger on the trigger. Make sure that the switch is turned off when plugging it into
the mains.
- Always pay the utmost attention by carefully observing the execution of work with
common sense and without distractions.
- When the machine is used outdoors, use only extension cords that are specifically
designed and marked for that purpose.
- Before using the tool, check that all moving parts work properly, perform their function
and are correctly assembled, also check that they are not bent, broken and all other
conditions that could adversely affect the normal operation of the tool. The casing or
any other part of the machine that is damaged must be repaired by an Authorized
Service Center or a person designated by the seller of the machine.
- Attention: The use of spare parts from other machines can cause incidents.
- Repair your tool only at an Authorized Service Center.
