VOLTAGE
1. Connect the black test lead to the COM jack and the red test lead to the V/ jack.
2. Set the rotary selector at the desired V range and select the AC/DC range with the AC/DC button.
3. Connect the test leads with the source or the load under measurement.
4. Hold and release the displayed data by pressing the HOLD button.
5. The meter indicates an overrange when only 1 is displayed. Select a higher range.
CURRENT
1. Connect the black test lead to the COM jack and the red test lead to the A jack (max. 200mA) or 10A jack (max.
10A).
2. Set the rotary selector at the desired A range and select the AC/DC range with the AC/DC button.
3. Connect the test leads with the source or the load under measurement.
4. Hold and release the displayed data by pressing the HOLD button.
5. The meter indicates an overrange when only 1 is displayed. Select a higher range.
DIODE/CONTINUITY
1. Connect the black test lead to the COM jack and the red test lead to the V/ jack. The polarity of the red test lead
is positive +.
2. Set the rotary selector at the desired
3. Connect the red test lead to the anode; connect the black test lead to the cathode of the diode. The meter will
display the approximate forward voltage drop. If the lead connection is reversed, the meter will display 1. If
continuity exists, i.e. resistance < 70 , the built-in buzzer will sound.
RESISTANCE
1. Connect the black test lead to the COM jack and the red test lead to the V/ jack. The polarity of the red test lead
is positive +.
2. Set the rotary selector at the desired
3. Connect the test leads with the resistance.
