on a flat surface. Check that the power
cable is not trapped or damaged. Turn
the power switch to setting 1. Hold down
the safety loop and turn the starter key.

Start to mow when the motor runs at
normal speed.

off the power at the power switch
(setting 0) and remove the key to
prevent unintentional starting when you
leave the machine.
Always charge the
battery after use!
(20)
USE
Mowing on slopes can be dangerouse.
Do not mow on very steep slopes.
Always cut along the slope. Overloading
the mower can be avoided by making
sure the motor speed does not drop
unduly. In long grass a first cut with the
blade Sjet higher will reduce the load.
(21) Before mowing, objects such as
twigs, toys and stones should be
removed from the lawn.
Avoid
running the blade over foreign
objects such as stones, roots, etc., as it
may cause engine damage.
(22) Mow the lawn twice weekly during
the most active periods of growth. Never
cut more than 1/3 of the length of the
grass, especially during dry periods.
Mow with a high cutting height setting
the first time. Examine the result and
lower the mower to the desired setting.
Mow slowly or mow the grass twice if it
is very long.
(23) If the ejection chute gets glogged,
do the following: Switch off the power at
the power switch (setting 0) and remove
the key to prevent unintentional starting.
Remove the grass collector and clean
the ejection chute.

WARNING! Always switch off the power
switch (setting 0) before cleaning,
servicing or repairing the mower. Also
remove the key to prevent unintentional
starting.
(25) After use
Brush off all grass, leaves, etc. (Do not
use a high pressure washer). The
batteries are entirely sealed so the
mower can be tilted freely without
battery acid running out.
(26) Annnualiy (after end of season)
Check the condition of the blade.
Service or replace the blade If
necessary. Grinding and balancing the
blade: Switch off the power at the power
switch (setting 0) and remove the key to
prevent unintentional starting. Unbolt the
blade and leave it with a service station
for grinding and balancing. Tighten the
blade bolts correctly. Tightening torque:
35 - 40 Nm.
(27) Changing the battery
Do not remove the batteries unless you
are replacing them. Take special care
when changing the batteries (removing,
connecting) and when handling them.
Make sure you do not short circuit them.
A short circuit can damage the machine
and cause the batteries to explode. Do
not change the batteries yourself unless
you are absolutely sure how they should
be connected. Always change both
batteries at the same time.
The batteries are sealed lead batteries
that contain corrosive acid. If the acid
should come into contact with the eyes,
rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and
seek medical attention. If the acid comes
into contact with the skin, rinse
thoroughly with plenty of water and
protect the eyes from possible
splashing.
(28)
Take care of used batteries and
take them to a battery collection station.
(29)
Rear discharge deflector is optional.
