DRIVE BELT (Fig. L)
Warning! Turn off and unplug the tool before making any
adjustments or removing or installing accessories.
To Replace Belt
a. Loosen the three screws shown in Fig. L and remove the
belt cover.
b. Remove old belt.
c. Place new belt over front pulley then rotate belt clockwise
while pushing belt onto back pulley.
d. Attach belt cover and securely tighten screws.
MAINTENANCE
Your tool has been designed to operate over a long period
of time with a minimum of maintenance. Continuous satisfactory
operation depends upon proper tool care and regular cleaning.
Warning! Before performing any maintenance, switch off
and unplug the tool.
Cleaning
► Turn off and unplug unit before cleaning chip discharge
chute. Clean the chip discharge chute (6) regularly.
Always wear safety glasses.
Warning! For your own safety, turn switch OFF and remove plug from power outlet before adjusting or aligning your planner.
PROBLEM
Unit will not start.
► Never use solvents or other harsh chemicals for cleaning

Reset circuit breaker. (If the product
repeatedly causes the circuit breaker
to trip, discontinue use immediately
