CAUTION:
* Remove the plug from the socket before changing the attachments.
* Do not mix continuously for more than 6 minutes and then let the mixer cool down for 10
minutes.
* Always start at a low speed and slowly increase it if necessary.
Thermal protection for the motor
The device is equipped with thermal motor protection. This prevents overheating. If the mixer is
used too intensively, the motor switches itself off. Then let the mixer cool down for 10 minutes.
NOTE: If this happens, unplug the power cord for a few minutes to allow the safety switch to reset
itself and set the speed control to "0". If you do not remove the plug from the socket, the motor
will start unexpectedly once the cool-down period has elapsed.
Safety switch for the upper housing
The engine of the appliance cannot start when the top housing is raised. If you open the upper
housing while the appliance is in operation, the safety switch immediately shuts off the motor.
You can then switch the appliance back on once the top housing is down and set the speed
control back to "0". You can then continue mixing by selecting a speed.
