SECTION 5: CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
CAUTION:
* To prevent accidental activation, unplug the power cord before assembling or
disassembling parts and before cleaning.
* Make sure the device is not submerged in water.
PLEASE REFER TO ALL INSTRUCTIONS IN THIS MANUAL
IMPORTANT:
* You should never put the appliance in the dishwasher. To ensure lasting and effective
performance, clean the device after each use.
* Do not use sharp, aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.
* Make sure that all parts are completely dry before using them again. Do not use the
device when it is damp.
1. Before cleaning, remove the plug from the socket and wait for the appliance to cool down.
2. Remove the splash guard, mixing bowl and accessory from the housing. Use a damp cloth to
clean the housing.
3. The mixing bowl, splash guard and whisk are dishwasher safe.
4. The beater and dough hook are NOT dishwasher safe. These are easy to clean with a damp
cloth and soap.

Solution method
Check the power cord and make sure
the power is on
Let the appliance cool down for at
least 10 minutes
Set the tilt switch to "0" and lower the
top housing back down, return the
speed control to "0" and then select a
speed
Place the mixing bowl correctly in the
housing
Place the attachment correctly at the
attachment point
This is a normal phenomenon
Check that the anti-slip feet are firmly
attached
Place the device on a stable and firm
surface
