The
water
filter
cartridge
is located
in the
back
upper
fight
corner
of the
refrigerator

When to Replace the Filter
There
is a replacenmnt
indicator
light
fin"
the
water
filter
cartfidoe,_
on the
dispense_;
This
light
will mrn
orange
to tell )ou
that
)ou
need
to replace
the
filter
soon.
The
filter
cartridge
should
be replaced
when
the
replacement
indicator
light
turns
red or if the flow
of water
to the
dispenser
or icei/laker
decreases,

Place the top of the cartridge up
inside the cartridge holder and
slowly turn it to the right.

HOLD 3 SECS
Installing the Filter Cartridge
If you are
replacing
the
cartridge,
fiI_t remove
the
oM one
by slowly
tm'ning
it to the left.
DO not pull
down
on the
cartridge.
A small
amotmt
of
water
inay
drip
down.
Fill the
replacement
cartridge
with
water
fl'om
the
tap to allow
fin" better
flow fl'om
the
dispenser
immediatelv
after
installation.

I,ining
up the arrow on the cartridge
and the cartridge
holder; place the
top of the new cartridge
up inside
the holder:
Oo not push it up into
the holder:
Slowly mrn it to the right tmtil the filter
cartridge
stops. DO NOT OVER77GHTEN.
,&syou turn the cartridge,
it will
automatically
raise itself' into position.
Cartridge will rotate about 1/4 turn.
Rtm
water
fl'om
the
dispenser
for
3 minutes
(about
one
and
a half
galhms)
to clear
the
svstein
and
prevent
sputtering.
Press
and
hold
the
RESET WATER FILTER
pad
on the
dispenser
for 3 seconds.
NOTE:
A newEqnstalled
water
filter
cartridge
may
cause water
to spurt from
the
dispense_:
Filter Bypass Plug
Y))u must
use the filter
b)pass plug
when
a replacement
filter
cartridge
is not
awfilable.
The
dispenser
and
the icemaker
will not
operate
without
the filter
or filter
byI)ass plug.
