Notes on connecting AC motors

• The device shall be installed in accordance with national wiring regulations and

any other regulations in force, specific to the location of the installation, e. g.

marine application.

• Observe the cross section for cables:

– Motor cable: 4 core 0.5 mm

800 mm, due to cable not being a LSF (Low Smoke and Fume) variant

– Switch cable: 4 core min. 1.5 mm

– Infrastructure cable: Size is to be determined by a qualified electrician

• A ground connection to the housing of the switch is required to satisfy national

safety requirements.

➤ Connect the motor as shown in the wiring diagrams (depending on the head rail

motor option supplied).
