7.2 Changing the garden hose
If the how reel is already fi tted with a hose, fi rst
pull out the hose to the mark.
Fig. 10 a: Remove the two screws from the
maintenance fl ap and then fl ip the maintenance
fl ap from the top to the front. Important! Risk of
pinching - The hose reel is allowed to be operated
only when the maintenance fl ap is fi tted.
Fig. 10 b: Another cover (Item A) should now be
visible in the hose reel. If this is not the case, ca-
refully turn the hose reel to the rear. Remove the
cover by undoing the screw.
Fig. 10 c: Remove the fastening clasp (Item B)
from the quick-lock coupling and then separate
the quick-lock coupling from the hose reel. To be
able to pull the hose out of the hose reel you must
also take the quick-lock coupling off the hose.
Fig. 10 d: To fi t a new hose, proceed in reverse or-
der. First pass the hose without quick-lock coup-
ling through the opening in the hose reel and into
the hose guide. Then feed the hose to the rear
around the hose reel.
Fig. 10 e: The supplied quick-lock coupling can
then be fi tted and the hose can be connected to
the hose reel from underneath. To prevent the
quick-lock coupling from working itself free, it
must be secured with the help of the fastening
clasp.
Fig. 10 f: Finally, the connection cover and the
maintenance fl ap must be refi tted. After the bat-
tery is inserted, the hose can be wound up by
pressing the button.
