► Always disconnect the mains plug
before assembling, disassembling,
cleaning or storing the appliance.
► Keep hair, jewellery, loose clothing,
fingers and other body parts away
from the brushes.
► Do not allow the connecting cable to
hang over edges (risk of tripping).
► When used for a longer period of
time, the appliance can become
hot. Allow the machine to cool down
before using it again, storing it or
carrying out work on the machine.

► Do not stand or sit on the machine.
► Do not leave any objects on the
machine.
► Do not the store the machine in the
vicinity of heat sources.
► Do not use aggressive or abrasive
cleaning agents to clean the ma-
chine.

CAUTION
► When using a coloured shoe cream,
the brushes and shoes polished
afterwards can discolour.
► Exert as little pressure as possible
with your shoes onto the brushes.
The shoes can be be damaged if too
much pressure is exerted.
► Do not use the machine to clean
suede shoes, shoes with coarse or
textile surfaces.
► Never lift or move the appliance with
the mains cable.
► Do not pull the connecting cable
to remove the plug from the mains
socket.
► Do not crush the connecting cable.
(e.g., under doors).
► Do not expose the connecting cable
to heat or chemical liquids.
Requirements for the place of
operation
For safe and trouble-free operation of the
appliance, the installation location must
satisfy the following requirements:
Put the machine onto a firm, dry and

Do not install the appliance in a hot,

wet or very humid environment.
The mains socket used must be eas-

ily accessible in order to be able to
quickly disconnect the appliance in the
event of an emergency.
