Operation
A Microphone connection
See fig. A. Necessary microphone input sensitivity of recording unit:
> 0.16 mV = - 76 dBV (also refer to operating instructions of recording
unit). With the measuring unit dBV, smaller values e. в. - 60 dBV correspond
to lower sensitivity.
Speaking into microphone
Do not speak directly into the microphone, but rather slighty above it (fig.
B.1). For speaking distances < 10 cm use the pop screen MZW 43.
For preferred speaking direction see fig. B.2.
Do not rub fingers on microphone housing while recording as these low-
frequency handling noises are also transmitted.
Use wind screen MZW 43 for outside recordings.
