NOTE
Prior to assembly, certain components
require lubrication Refer to Table 3 for
details
Pump tube
1 Place ball (12) into piston (14)
2 Screw piston adapter (9) into piston
Tighten securely
3 Install spring (11) into piston adapter
Verify spring centers on ball
4 Screw coupling rod (8) into piston
adapter until pin holes are aligned
5 Press on ball to ensure it operates and
seats properly
CAUTION
Support coupling rod (8) and piston
adapter (9) during roll pin installation
Damage to components can occur

6 Install roll pin (10) to secure coupling rod
to piston adapter
7 Install wear rings (13), o-ring (15) and
back-up washer (16) onto piston
8 Install o-ring (6) onto valve seat (21)
9 Install o-ring (4) and o-ring (6) onto tube
adapter (5) Place larger o-ring on upper
portion of adapter (with holes)
10 Install bung adapter (18) onto tube (17)
Tighten bung adapter bolt
11 Install spring (19) and valve disk (20) into
bottom of tube (17) Verify components
are stacked and centered properly
12 Screw valve seat into tube Use care
when passing over o-ring Use bung
adapter as a lever and tighten securely
13 Turn tube end for end
14 Install piston into tube with a slight
twisting motion Ease lubricated compo-
nents past tube threads
15 Position top of piston adapter level with
bottom thread in tube
16 Screw tube adapter (5) (holes upward)
into tube and tighten securely Use care
when passing over o-ring
Connect pump tube to air
motor

rod facing upward
18 Thread coupling rod (8) onto piston rod
until pin holes are in alignment
19 Lubricate pin (7) with grease to prevent
