Assembly:
1. Assemble the three frame parts (parts a, b, c, d).
upside down so that the large holes on the bottom of
the pieces face up.
2. Screw the 2 bolts (part 1117) into part b until hand
tight. The hole in the bolt must face upwards, if it does
not face upwards, unscrew the bolt slightly until it
faces upwards. (The bolts may be a little loose)
3. Insert the 2 housings (part 1116) into part c as shown.
4. Put the frame parts b and c together so that there
is no gap between them. If the bolts (part 1117) do
not fit easily into the corresponding holes, make sure
the housings have not rotated in the holes. Insert the 2
grub screws (part 1122) into the housings that are
already in part c. Use a Phillips screwdriver to tighten
the grub screws clockwise (min. 1.5 Nm max. 2.5 Nm ).
5. Using the 4 screws M6x40 as shown (part 1211), screw
part a to part b and part d to part c. The screws must
be tightened hand-tight (min. 1.5 Nm - max. 2.5 Nm )
6. Place the lying surface (part i) so that the large holes
all around point upwards. Press the 4 fastening jaws
(part y) into the lying surface with the wooden dowels
as shown in the picture.
7. Secure each of the 4 mounting jaws (part y) with a
screw M6x40mm (part 1211) and the included Allen
key (part 1200) in a clockwise direction as shown. The
screws must be tightened hand-tight (min. 1.5 Nm -
max. 2.5 Nm ). Do not overtighten the screws.
8. Lay frame parts a, b, c and d flat on the floor as
shown. Position the lying surface (part i ) so that the 4
fastening jaws (part y) point towards the underside of
the babybay .
9. Attach 2 of the counterparts (part z) with one
M6x40mm screw (part 1211) each to the fastening
jaws (part y) on the lying surface (part d) with the
Allen key (part 1200) as shown (min. 1.5 Nm -
max.2.5Nm). Then place the babybay on the bottom
side of the frame and attach the 2 other counterparts
(part z) to the back using the same method. The
screws must be tightened hand-tight (min. 1.5Nm -
max. 2.5Nm). Do not overtighten. (The height of the
lying surface must be adjusted later).
10. The minimum measurement between the top of
the lying surface and the bottom edge of the frame
(as shown) is 27.5 cm.
11. Mount the iron bracket (part 1115) to the running rail
(part e1) with the screw (part 2049) and the wing nut
(part 1232) as shown. To attach it to the parents' bed,
you need a right and a left side of the holding system.
By rotating the angle on the running rail 180°, you can
mount a right and a left part as shown.
12. Attach the holding system to the Babybay using the
Allen key (part 1200), the counterparts for the holding
system (part e2) and the screws M6x40mm (part 1211)
as shown. Leave the screws a little loose because the
height of the holding system still needs to be adjusted.
13. Adjust the height of the babybay ‚s lying surface so
that the babybay mattress is at the same height as the
parents' bed mattress.
14.1Holding system from above:
Place the babybay next to the parents' bed. Position
the iron brackets of the support system at the top of
the parent bed frame as shown. Adjust the length of
the iron angles so that there is no longer a gap
between the parents' bed mattress and the babybay
mattress. Tighten the wing nuts (part 1232) so tightly
that the iron angle (part 1115) can no longer be
adjusted in length. Tighten the screws M6x40mm (part
1211) of the holding system completely (min. 1.5Nm
- max. 2.5NM). Check whether the babybay is securely
attached to the parents' bed by pulling it firmly
backwards. There should be no gap between the two
beds.
14.2Holding system from below:
Place the babybay next to the parents' bed. Position
the iron brackets of the support system on the
underside of the parent bed frame as shown. Adjust
the length of the iron angles so that there is no longer
a gap between the parents' bed mattress and the
babybay mattress. Tighten the wing nuts (part 1232)
so tightly that the iron angle (part 1115) can no longer
be adjusted in length. Tighten the screws M6x40mm
(part 1211) of the holding system completely (min.
1.5Nm - max. 2.5NM). Check whether the babybay is
securely attached to the parents' bed by pulling it
firmly backwards. There should be no gap between the
two beds.
