normal care and proper treatment it will provide years of reliable service. It is important to
understand all operating instructions and warnings before use.
Keep this manual for future reference.
Features
• Recharge and start a car (or other 12V) batteries in minutes. The powerful Ni-Cad
battery can be recharged over 500 times.
• Use the Deluxe Power Backup as a power source for audio/video accessories, cell
phones, camping accessories, and more.
• The super-bright LED flashlight makes charging your vehicle at night easy.
• 25A fuse protection to regulate charging and discharging.
Warnings
• Shock hazardous.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Keep battery charger and adapter away from water and other liquids.
• Never operate if cord is damaged or product is not working properly.
• Do not exceed the rated fuse capacity.
• Before attempting to start vehicle, this unit must be removed from the vehicle's 12V
socket. See "CHARGING A VEHICLE BATTERY" section for details.
• Before plugging in any accessory, always be sure to first switch the accessory off.
• Always be sure to check the polarity and voltage of the accessory before
operating. Do not attempt to charge accessories with the polarity reversed.
Reversed polarity will result in permanent damage to the accessory.
• To avoid potential damage, do not leave the unit or any accessory operating in an
unattended vehicle.
• During operation, the unit may feel warm. Stop charging if it becomes too hot.
