Press the anchor bolts into the wet concrete and vibrate to remove voids from
around the anchor bolts and edges of forms. Level the bolt positioner board with-
out pressing the bottom leveling nuts into the concrete. Cover and allow the concrete to set.

After the concrete has set, remove the bolt positioner board. Leave the lower nuts and washers in
place for anchor base installation.
The bollard will come fully assembled. You will need to remove the bollard base from the bollard
tube. Lay the bollard on the ground horizontally with the lock facing up. Looking from the bottom of
the bollard, rotate the base counter-clockwise as far as it will go, place the key in the lock and rotate
clockwise to unlock the base. Remove the key. Rotate the anchor base clockwise approximately 10°
while gently pulling to disengage the base from the bollard tube. Place the bollard tube assembly
aside in a safe location.
Place the anchor base over the anchor bolts. Level the anchor base, then fasten with another set of
nuts and washers. Pull the data and power cables through the conduit.

pernos. Deje las tuercas inferiores y las arandelas en su lugar para la instalación
de la base de anclaje.
El bolardo vendrá completamente ensamblado. Deberá quitar la base del bolardo del tubo del bo-
lardo. Coloque el bolardo en el suelo horizontalmente con la cerradura hacia arriba. Mirando desde
la parte inferior del bolardo, gire la base en sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj tanto como sea
posible, coloque la llave en la cerradura y gírela en el sentido de las agujas del reloj para desblo-
quear la base. Retire la llave. Gire la base del anclaje en el sentido de las agujas del reloj aproxi-
madamente 10° mientras tira suavemente para desenganchar la base del tubo del bolardo. Colo-
que el conjunto del tubo del bolardo a un lado en un lugar seguro.
Coloque la base de anclaje sobre los pernos de anclaje. Nivele la base del anclaje, luego fíjela con
otro juego de tuercas y arandelas. Tire de los cables de datos y alimentación a través del conducto.

Insert the steel pole into the Aluminum Pole Flange to the Anchor Base. Tighten the set screws to
secure the steel pole in position.

Determine which mounting bracket(s) to install to the pole. Most Aruba access points will require the
right angle bracket and most Cisco access points will require the vertical bracket (Note: depending on
what equipment is being installed, some installations may require both) Remove the nuts and clamp
from the U-Bolt and place the U-Bolt around the pipe. Install the clamp, mounting plate and nuts as
shown in diagram. Securely tighten the nuts.
