CAUTION
PyroBubbles® are multi-cellular hollow glass balls that are not dangerous in
solid form (delivery state). Dust is not inhalable. If PyroBubbles® are
knowingly pulverised, continued contact with high concentrations of
inhalable dust can damage lung function. The general dust limit value of
1.25 mg/m³ for alveolar dust (A-dust) fraction and 10 mg/m³ for the
inhalable (E-dust) fraction must be observed. An individual time-weighted
value may not exceed 3 mg/m³ for the A-dust fraction. For details, please
see TRGS 900. If dust concentration in the workplace exceeds the
established workplace limits, approved and suitable respiratory protection
must be used (type P2 filter).
PyroBubbles® that are no longer in the same condition as when they were
delivered must be disposed of in accordance with the disposal guidelines
(see Chapter 7, "Disposal"
fail to meet the sorption capacity and insulation requirements.
Danger due to dust particles and contamination!
Wear suitable personal protective equipment when
working with transport boxes! Wear suitable
respiratory protection (type P2 filter) if transport
boxes are filled with PyroBubbles® or opened after
transport, in order to prevent inhaling pulverised
particles!
PyroBubbles® may get contaminated during use. If
this happens, immediately remove the contamination
and appropriately dispose of any contaminated
