INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND PRESERVATION

Thank you for your trust in this Orliman product. You have acquired a quality
product with a high medicinal value. Please, read the instructions carefully. If you
have any doubt, get in contact with your doctor, your orthopaedist specialist or
our customer service department. Orliman appreciates your choice and wishes

REGULATION
These products satisfy the European Medical Device Directive 93/42/CEE (RD.
1591/2009). A Risk Analysis has been carried out (UNE EN ISO 14971) minimis-
ing all the existing risks. The trials have been carried out in accordance with the
European regulation UNE-EN ISO 22523 of Prosthesis and Orthesis.
SUITABLE FOR
• Prevention and auxiliary treatment of pressure sores.
• People who spend long periods of time in the same position with parts of the
body in contact with the surface of the bed or subjected to constant friction by
bedding or rough surfaces.
Protection areas by product:
• Boot: calcaneus (heel) and malleoli.
FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
In order to achieve the highest degree of therapeutic effectiveness for different
disorders and to prolong the service life of the product, it is essential to select
the most suitable size for the patient or user (see the size and centimetre equiv-
alence chart on the packaging). As excessive compression can cause intolerance,
it is advisable to adjust the compression to an optimum level.
Follow the fitting instructions below:
1-Undo the product's adjustable straps or fastenings and fit to the appropriate
part of the body.
2-Fasten for a comfortable fit.
COMPOSITION
OSL1302
> Outer fabric of the product:
·Fabric: 100% polyester
·Covering: 100% breathable and impermeable polyurethane, with flame retardant and anti-microbial (fungicide and anti-bacterial) treatment.
·Adjustable closure system: 100% polyamide.
> Inner fabric of the product: 70% bamboo, 30% Lycra.
> Interior of the product: 100% siliconised and conjugated hollow polyester fibre.
WASHING AND MAINTENANCE RECOMMENDATIONS
Maintenance (TECH heel protector): wipe the outer fabric with a damp cloth.
Use a dry towel to absorb any moisture.
Washing: before washing, close any Velcro fasteners or zips.
Machine washable: machine wash with delicate programme and tepid water
(30°C) with neutral detergent. Spin dry gently (400 rpm). Leave to dry at room
temperature. Do not use bleach. Do not hang up, iron or expose to direct heat
sources such as stoves, heaters, radiators, direct sunlight, etc. Do not dry clean.

When using or cleaning, do not use bleach, alcohol, ointments or liquid solvents.
If the product is not well wrung out, detergent residue can remain and cause
irritation to the skin and damage to the product.
Store in a dry place at room temperature.
