CAUTION: Risk of tipping over - Place
the four legs at the same height.
Before using the shower chair you must
adjust the seat in the correct height.
The seat can be adjusted in height by
following steps:
• Press on the spring pin .
• Move the leg  until the desired height (5
different positions: steps from 25 mm).
• Check that the spring pin  is clicked
back and firmly fixated in a hole.
• Adjust the other legs with the same
instructions.
•
Check that all legs are placed in the same
position.
6.2 Carrying the shower chair
The best way to carry the shower chair: grasp
the handgrip of the backrest or grasp the two
armrests.
7 Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning and disinfection
Use a soft, damp cloth and lukewarm water
with a mild household soap or disinfectant to
clean the shower chair. Follow the instructions
for use of the cleaning product. Avoid soaking.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents to clean.
When used in long-term care environments,
follow the in-house instructions for cleaning
and disinfection.
7.2 Inspection / Service / Repairs
The expected service life of your shower chair
is 5 years. The lifespan is influenced by use,
storage, maintenance, service and cleaning.
Before you resume use of the shower chair, it
should be inspected on following points:
• Frame
(deformation,
connections).
Your shower chair is constructed of aluminium
and plastic components.
Repairs and replacements may only be
undertaken by trained persons, and only
genuine replacement parts of Vermeiren
should be used. Do not hesitate to use the
services offered by your specialist dealer.
He/she will be glad to assist you regarding any
service and repairs.
7.3 Reuse
Before each reuse, have the shower chair
disinfected, inspected and serviced according
to the instructions in §7.1 and §7.2 .
7.4 Disposal at end of life
At end of life, you need to dispose of your
shower chair according
environmental legislation.
