DRILLING IN THE WALL AND MOUNTING THE BRACKET
As a first step, proceed according to the following drawings:
A vertical line up to the ceiling or to the upper limit, in the centre of the area where the hood is to be ins-
talled.
A horizontal line A at 790-890 mm above the ceiling.
A horizontal line B at X above the horizontal A.
A horizontal line C at 115 mm above horizontal A.
Marking the points
Mark a point 1 on horizontal line A, 80 mm to the right of the vertical reference line.
Repeat this operation on the other side, checking that the two marks are level.
Mark a point 2 on horizontal line B, 60 mm to the right of the vertical reference line.
Repeat this operation on the other side and on the vertical reference line, checking that all three marks
are level.
Mark a point 3 on the horizontal line C, 150 mm to the right of the vertical reference line.
Repeat this operation on the other side, checking that the two marks are level.
Fixing the brackets (optional)
Drill holes at the marked points, using a 10 mm drill bit.
Insert the wall plugs 11, into the holes.
Fix a chimney fixing bracket 21 with 2 screws 10 (5 x 50) on the horizontal line B.
Screw 2 screws 10 (5 x 50) into the wall plugs 11 on the horizontal line A; approximately four-fifths of the
length of the screws 10 (5 x 50) are screwed into the wall plugs 11, used to fix the hood.
