The front part of the base plate has a V-groove that allows
for chamfering edges.
1. Select the desired cutting depth on the adjustment knob
(7);
2. Position the V-groove on the edge that you want to
chamfer;
3. Press the lock-on button (9) and the "ON/OFF" switch
(10) simultaneously;
If you do not press the lock-on button, the "ON/OFF" switch
remains locked.
4. Let the blade reach maximum speed;
5. Push the planer towards the workpiece continuously;
6. To switch off the planer lift it off from the workpiece
surface and release the "ON/OFF" switch.
Before chamfering the edge of the workpiece, carry
out a depth test on the edge of a piece of wood.
Before carrying out any cleaning, adjustment, accessory
replacement, repair or maintenance work, switch off the
planer and remove the battery pack.
The electric planer does not require any additional
lubrication or maintenance. However, you must perform
regular cleaning for a continuous and trouble-free
operation.
Always keep blades clean and sharp. Properly cared blades
jam less frequently, are more easily controlled, and allow
greater efficiency during operation of the machine.
Keep the roller and blade clean to ensure accurate cutting.
The blades can be sharpened on a bench grinder or a
sharpening stone. If there is too much unevenness or wear,
you should use a bench grinder before you use a
sharpening stone.
1. Remove the blades from the planer;
2. Sharpen the blades on a bench grinder with a fine grit
grinding wheel;
3. After sharpening the blade on the grinding wheel, use
the sharpening blade to achieve a finer finish and edge.
Ensure that the blades, at the end of the sharpening
operation, have the same length and angle.
Cleaning
After each use clean all the components of the planer and
empty the collection bag. Wipe the power tool with a clean,
damp cloth or blow it with low pressure compressed air.
The power tool and its ventilation slots must be kept
unclogged to prevent motor overheating. Clean ventilation
slots regularly or whenever they become blocked.
Careful handling protects the power tool and extends its
service life.
Storage
When not in use, store the electric planer in a dry, clean
place, free of corrosive smoke and out of children's reach.
The packaging is made up of recyclable materials,
which you can dispose on local recycling points.
Never dispose of power tools with your household
waste!
According to the European Directive 2012/19/EC on
electrical and electronic equipment waste and its
transposition into national law, power tools must be
collected separately and delivered to the collection sites
provided for this purpose.
You can get information regarding the disposal of the power
tool through the person in charge for recycling in your city.
